About the Association

The Sino-North Africa Education Innovation Association, referred to as the Association, has been established as an international intercollegiate exchange platform through the collaborative efforts of higher education experts from China and North African countries. This initiative involves leaders from education and cultural institutions, as well as representatives from various Chinese-funded enterprises in both North Africa and China. The Association is dedicated to evolving into a forward-looking and mutually beneficial cooperation body within the framework of the “Belt and Road” education action initiative between China and North African countries. It stands as a high-end, open, and valuable platform for cooperation and exchange in the international education sector, functioning as an international non-profit non-governmental organization with a current membership of 100 units.

The Sino-North Africa Education Innovation Association receives robust support and professional guidance from government departments and numerous large enterprises on both domestic and international fronts. Notable contributors include the Tunisian Ministry of Education, the Moroccan Ministry of Education, OPFPT, the Moroccan Association of Chinese Enterprises, and a research enterprise focused on education science and technology. The Association actively engages in a diverse range of business and exchange projects, such as cooperative education, reciprocal visits among teachers and students, international competitions, collaborative scientific research, principal forums, and international academic forums. The participation of nearly a hundred well-known universities from both home and abroad enhances the learning and exchange opportunities between Chinese and North African universities, breaking down barriers in international educational collaboration.

The overarching goal of the Sino-North Africa Education Innovation Association is to establish a transnational training and cross-border talent cultivation mechanism. This mechanism aims to facilitate the movement of talent among member universities, emphasizing the principles of synergy and innovation. The Association seeks to collaboratively undertake long-term plans for cooperation and exchange across various professional fields. Through joint efforts, the goal is to innovate mechanisms collectively and eventually construct a community of interests, fate, and responsibility marked by political mutual trust, economic integration, and cultural inclusivity.
